Nikki Westoby

As Director of Neuroscience for Europe, Nikki works closely with Nielsen’s clients: providing training on consumer neuroscience and related topics, and guiding them through designing, conducting and interpreting consumer neuroscience projects. Having worked in the consumer neuroscience industry since 2005, for a variety of companies, she has experience applying multiple neuroscience techniques to client questions. Previously, her academic career focused on how the human brain perceives and evaluates objects, specifically how attention and emotional systems interact to influence behavior. As part of her current role, Nikki now works with Nielsen’s scientific advisory board to ensure that the science underpinning Nielsen CNS methods are cutting-edge, and that Nielsen’s clients are receiving insights based on the very latest learnings from neuroscience.
